Academics

RMA creates high standards of achievement to promote students’ academic success through innovative learning strategies that meet their individual needs. Our educational model is grounded in instructional best practices and professional development, so that our students consistently meet state and district requirements for promotion and graduation.

RMA is accredited by AdvancED / SACS CASI. Credits earned at RMA are transferable to/from any United States school and are accepted by most institutions of higher learning. We encourage our students to consider life after high school by preparing for college courses, particpating in On the Job Training to earn high school credit, and/or using our Dual Enrollment option.

Our academic programs for at risk school students take place in a small school environment and enhance opportunities for low performing students to achieve academic success. We provide these educational opportunities efficiently and align responsibility with accountability at all levels, among all stakeholders including parents, students, staff, the Board, school district, and the community. All constituents share in school accountability for success. RMA programming is a top priority as we strive to ensure that every student achieves RMA’s school goals reflected in our Vision.
